Nicely executed flintlock Southern Mountain Rifle in a Poor Boy style. It has a straight taper .45 barrel 42" long with 1:66 twist. Browned finish. The Maple stock has some nice figure. No buttplate in the Poor Boy style. Simplified trigger plate and single trigger. LOP is 13 9/16". Unmarked lock and barrel. Builder unknown. Rifle weighs about 6.6 lbs. Nice, slim, well balanced rifle. Appears unfired. $1000 + Shipping.
