Description:
VERY NICE Custom rifle chambered in 270 Winchester. Maker Unknown, but HIGH QUALITY Professional work. Guessing built in mid to late 70's as barrel is dated 1975. Built on a Remington 03-A3 Sniper action. Douglas Premium XX 22" bbl with Featherweight contour. Jeager adjustable trigger.Not sure of wood type, but very nice stock of lightweight pattern. Exquiste wrap around 20 LPI sharp hand cut checkering. Inletted sling swivels. Steel checkered Neidner style Buttplate. Metal grip cap. Ebony foretip. Action is nicely pillar and glass bedded. Redfield scope mounts. Nicely balanced rifle. Weighs in at 7 lbs 9 oz. with mounts. I am guessing you could not build a rifle like this today for less than $3,000.00.
