Rapid Fire Model 1919A4 chambered in .308 Winchester. The M1919A4 remained the U.S. military's standardized light machine gun until 1957 when, it was officially superseded by the "all-purpose" M60 machine gun. Nonetheless, the M1919A4 continued to be used as a secondary arm well into the Vietnam War era. This rifle was manufactured by Rapid Fire of Troy, OH as a semi-automatic copy of the famous Browning 1919 Light Machine Gun. The right side of the receiver is marked "RAPID FIRE TROY, OH/1919A4 CAL. 308" Flip up rear and front sights, perforated barrel shroud, and bipod. Includes 1 belt and booster. .308 Winchester
