Description:
20 inch carbine configuration chambered in 44 RF caliber with a fair bore that has quite a bit of pitting. Sights include a barleycorn front and a two-leaf rear. Brass receiver is a golden yellow patina. Saddle ring is present. Wooden stocks appear to be replacements. Buttstock could be from an 1873 Winchester. Lower tang screw is a replacement. This 4th Model 1866 was made in 1882.
