Description:
26 inch octagon barrel with a Lyman brass bead front and sporting rear sights. Good bore with sound rifling. Barrel is thinning blue with a few dings and scratches. Action is faded blue as well with wear, mostly on the underside. Bolt mounted cocking indicator and a bent tab safety. Lever has good traces of case color. Crisp action. Wood has a worn finish and several handling dings and mars along with some cracks at the toe. Crescent steel buttplate has faded to a dull grey. This Savage was manufactured in 1908.
