Description:
Charles Hellis is a smaller very high-quality British maker famous for it's nimble leightweight boxlocks.  The action is robust, tight on face and with precise crisp triggers (F-2lb5oz R-2lbs 90z).  It has very finely executed detailed rose and scroll full engraving.  The case coloring and bluing is 95% and the barrels are bright with no pitting.  The wood has a nicely figured straight grain.  It is finely checkered with crisp points.  With light loads it is a great all day carry quail gun.  It is also a wonderful upland game and vintage clays gun.
