Synopsis: Smith & Wesson Model 41 with an Extendable Front Sight. Complete with factory matching box, spare magazine, literature. Description: Fantastic, nearly new, S&W Model 41 (no “-” suffix) made in 1972 with heavy barrel having extendable front sight, spare magazine, cleaning packet, and instructions in factory-matching box. Standard pistol with Patridge front sight, fixed to extendable rib secured with two allen head screws, fully adjustable rear sight, and loaded cartridge indicator. Usual S&W markings on left side of barrel and slide with full serial number on frame. The caliber is marked on the right side of the barrel, S&W’s location on the right side of the slide and 'MODEL 41' on the right side of the frame. Serrated, grooved front strap. Checkered grips with thumb rest on left panel. Two original S&W M41 magazines, each side of body marked with '5' indicator/S&W logo/22 cal. on magazine with S&W repeated on the floorplate. Blue/Silver factory box for this model, one side denoted “HEAVY BARREL”; matching end label on other side. S&W wax paper with in original box with several pieces of literature. Condition: The pistol presents as nearly new. There is one small nick on the left side. No sharp edge wear, thinning, scuffs or scratches. Comparable condition grips and magazines.
