Returned to Springfield and refinished in a mixed number configuration, most likely one of the original 800
assembled with the 7 1/2 inch barrels. Overall excellent - no scratches - no damage - functions perfectly -
good military colors.... never bothered to get a letter ...it would just tell you what you already know,,
