Description:
24 inch round barrel chambered in 38 WCF caliber with a good bore that shows shine and very fine frosting throughout. Original sights include a German silver blade front and typical Winchester sporting rear. Barrel and full length magazine tube are a thinning brown patina blending to thinning blue in the protected areas. Forend cap is a silver/gray color. Receiver has about 25% thinning blue with the balance and edges a silver/gray. Faint traces of case colors on the hammer and lever. Nice functioning action. Walnut stocks are in good condition with some handling mars and dings. A rifle style crescent buttplate. This Antique Winchester rifle was made in 1894.
