Description:
24 inch octagon barrel with full magazine chambered in 25-20 WCF caliber. Dark bore still has fairly strong rifling. Barrel and magazine tube show about 60% original blue turning a dark plum patina. Brass blade front and sporting rear sights. Receiver shows 40% original blue turning a dark plum patina with the balance of metal turning dark gray. Traces of case colors on hammer and lever. Excellent solid wood shows very minor shrinkage at toe but otherwise has sharp corners all around. Rifle buttplate. Crisp action. Serial number in the 512,XXX range. A very nice old gun!
