Description:
31 inch curved blade that is 1-1/4 inch wide at the hilt. Blade is finished in blue and gold gilt etch with about 80% blue and 60-70% gold gilt remaining. Blade has several nicks in the edge toward the tip. Checkered bone grip is in good condition with just some chips out at the top. Hilt has a good amount of gold wash remaining. Sword lives in it's original brass scabbard which has floral decorations and finely shaded background at throat, center hanger and tip. Quite an attractive officer's sword.
