Description:
M-1 Garand barrel. SA-8-44. Very good condition. Bright mirror bore with no pitting or frosting. ME=just under 1. TE=5. Dark blackish grey Parkerizing with typical wear marking of being on a rifle. Not import marked. Top of barrel marked D35448-32-A-85 A-1 along with a weak ordnance stamp and a couple of incomplete marks. Gas port is not chromed with very minor surface erosion starting right around the port. (See pic.) Parkerizing at about 95% with a few scuffs from typical use.
