Description:
Standard musket configuration with 30 inch barrel chambered in 44 WCF caliber. Bright shiny bore. Crisp action. Original sights. Sling swivels. Most all original blue remains on the barrel. Receiver also retains most of its original blue finish with some fading and streaks to the side plates. Hammer and lever as well as trigger have strong case colors. Buttplate also has bright case colors. Wood is in good condition with some light nicks and dings. This is a very fine example of a Winchester musket. Made in 1898.
