1955 Great Western Arms SAA wearing a 5.5 inch barrel and loaded with .44 Special cartridges. In the heyday of the Holiwood Westerns movies and TV series explosion of the early 1950s Colt was not producing their legendary six shooter! In steps Great Western Arms, a high quality SAA maker that sometimes used Colt parts in their production of the revolvers. This gun remains in excellent original condition with vivid case colors and 95% or better original blued finish. Faux stag grips are original to the gun. Heck even John Wayne carried his Great Western in some of his Westerns he starred in!
