Description: General Specs: Krieghoff, c2000, 12 Gauge, 8lbs. 7oz., Screw-in Chokes, LOP 14 1/4", DAH 2 1/4", DAC 1 3/8" Serial Number: 26595 The Krieghoff K80 has been the most popular competition gun in the United States for many decades and for good reason. THEY WIN TOURNAMENTS AND BRING GREAT PRIDE OF OWNERSHIP. The receiver on the K80 is CNC machined from solid forged steel, then meticulously hand fit and finished by the best of German gunmakers. Krieghoff makes the K80 gun in many models, differing mostly in the amount of decoration, the action being the same on their least or most expensive guns. This K80 Uplander is a special-order gun. First, it is engraved by a most desirable engraver, Giacomo Badillini, and if you study the photos, you will see why his work is considered superior to others who engrave this same pattern. The bank note scroll is impeccably cut, with shaded background accenting the work, stunning detail of a grouse on the left side and a mourning dove on the right. Even the trees in the background are special. Second, the wood on the gun was upgraded to Category 5, highly figured Turkish walnut, a $6,350 upgrade. Built around the year 2000, the gun is fitted with 30” barrels, screw-in chokes, and a sporting rib that tapers from 12mm to 9mm. The barrel blue is 99.5% with no scratches or dings. The bores are both perfect. Made for competitive skeet, a set of Briley Ultralight sub-gauge tubes (20,28, .410 bore) come with the gun, complete with screw-in chokes, 4 chokes per gauge, which will work equally well for sporting clays. The Krieghoff factory wood is finished in a hand-rubbed oil finish with only the slightest hint of handling marks or use. The pistol grip has a right-hand palm swell, the left side has a less pronounced palm swell, and the cast is neutral. We can alter the gun to a left-hand palm swell with work done by a Krieghoff certified gunsmith. Weighing 8lbs. 7oz. and balanced ½” forward of the hinge pin, the gun shows as near new despite its “born on” date. Our Krieghoff certified gunsmith performed the annual service on this gun, so it is ready to compete with the top lever well to the right, barrels tight on breech face, and no wiggle on the hinge pin. The retail cost of this gun if ordered today would exceed $32,000 with upgrades and accessories. This gun can be had at a fraction of that price with nothing needed to be done but make a date at your gun club for a run at the targets. See the specifications below. The gun is cased with all accessories. Don’t hesitate on this one, she won’t last long. Thanks for looking!
