Very attractive and all original WWII S&W Victory Revolver in .38 Special.
Description:
Standard configuration S&W Victory Revolver, 4 inch barrel, having a half moon front sight and grooved rear sight. Left side of barrel marked SMITH & WESSON; top with manufacturer address and patent reference; right side with caliber markings. Top strap marked "U.S. PROPERTY G.H.D." Right side of frame marked "MADE IN USA." S&W logo on sideplate. Serial number on butt bracketing rotatable lanyard ring, repeated on rear of cylinder. Matching assembly numbers (17373) on frame and crane. Limited disassembly shows the right grip with a stamped matching number.
Condition:
Near EXC with sharp edge wear as one might expect from a holstered revolver that has seen minimal use. Mirror bright bore. All cylinders index properly. A very attractive, all original, and all matching S&W Victory revolver, well suited to any WWII martial collector!
