Description:
This is anEarly 4th Model 1851 Navy and the matching SN 113680. The mechanical function is very good crisp and tight and the bore is very good bright with strong rifling but does have some minor corrosion. The barrel has 30% fading blue and cylinder retains 35%- cylinder scene. The safety pins are worn down. The grip heel on the right side has a small chip. The frame and loading lever retain 35%-dark case colors. Soldiers learned that the quickest reload was another gun.
