Description:
This is a very nice Original British Royal Navy White Ensign flag that was used exclusively by the Royal Navy. It has a large cross of St. George in the "field" of the flag, with a British Union Jack in the upper left-hand "canton" next to the header. A very displayable large size of 109" x 52". The flag does appear to have seen light service, as it has faded and has light staining. It appears to be made of wool, with a canvas header, with a 9" piece of wood that secures the top mount. There are a couple places it has worn through or moth damage, at the fly end. The flag is marked "DS White Ensign" with no makers mark.;
