This is a very nice Colt Detective Special, DA/SA revolver chambered in .38 special. The barrel is 2 inches long with a perfect bore. The original metal finish is about 98%. Bore is shiny with strong rifling, about 98%. The factory checkered wood grips with medallions appear to be original, about 97%. The timing and lock up are perfect. This revolver was made in 1964 according to the Colt . This revolver will make great addition to any collection!
