Description:
Serial number indicates it was made early to pre Civil War. Smith & Wesson Model 2 Army. .32 calibre rimfire. Serial number 11951. Strong action and lockup.
 Traces of case color noted on the frame. and lots of faded bluing throughout. Gun metal gray tone throughout with some very light pitting noted. Rosewood grips are in excellent condition. Barrel address "Smith & Wesson. Springfield Mass." The patent information is still present on the cylinder.
 The Model 2 was a popular sidearm for many officers during the Civil War. The Smith & Wesson Model 2 was manufactured between 1861 and 1874, with a total production of 77,155.
