Description:
Steyr Daimler Puch A.G., chambered in 30-06 Springfield. This gun was imported by Simpson LTD G'Burg IL. Some features of this gun are the right side of the barrel at the chamber and the receiver's chamber ring are marked "36235". The top of the receiver ring is marked "MADE IN AUSTRIA / Original / Mannlicher / Schoenauer / Mod NO / KAL 30-06". The left side of the chamber ring is marked with a "63". The left side of the barrel is marked with proof marks and "63". The floorplate is marked with a "STEYR" bullseye. The bottom of the bolt handle is marked with the serial number. The front sight is a blade dovetailed to a checkered, ramped base fixed to the front of the barrel. The base is slotted for a hood that is not included. The rear sight has a fixed "U"-notch and a folding "U"-notch marked "300", dovetailed to a boss at the rear of the barrel. The stock is checkered walnut Mannlicher with a capped pistol grip and shadow line cheekpiece, serrated black buttplate, and 1" sling loops. .30-06 Springfield
