Description:
The Winchester 42, made from 1933 to 1963, was the first pump action shotgun designed for the .410. It is a light handling and low recoil shotgun that is perfect for recoil sensitive shooters and sub-gauge lovers. This example of the Winchester 42 is in very good condition with light wear over most of the firearm, however the side plate of the receiver has been re blued and shows some wear through the bluing. I suspect that however the previous owner stored the firearm between use rubbed against the side plate greatly. The stocks, like the majority of the firearm are in fantastic condition and also have a beautiful figured grain.
