Description:
Special order rapid taper 24 inch octagon barrel and half length mag. Barrel retains most all original blue with lots of tiny scattered spots of oxidation. Most likely from poor storage. Has a good bore that would benefit from a good cleaning. A Marble/Sheard blade front and a sporting rear sight. Receiver is a gun metal gray patina with more of the light scattered spots of oxidation. Traces of case color on hammer and lever. Walnut stocks are in very good condition with only minor handling mars and a rifle butt. Crisp action. Interesting configuration in a scarce caliber that was made in 1912.
