Description:
This is a possible FW Widmann manufactured 32 inch curved blade finished in blue and gold gilt. This sword is in very nice shape with the blade having six gold gilt etched panels separated by four plain white etched panels. The Eagle Head pommel retains most of the gold wash, worn to brass on the back of the grip. The ivory grip has a repair at the top with a well fitted piece. The sword is housed in its original engraved gold washed brass scabbard with engraving. The center ring is missing but scabbard is otherwise in very good condition. This circa 1812 Officer's sword would display very nicely.
