I bought this Weatherby Mark V Hunter .257 new last year and added a Leupold VX3HD 4.5-14 CDS scope and a lightweight Caldwell 14-30" bipod.
At the range, I broke it in properly ending up with 100 yard groups that averaged 3/4 inch with Weatherby Select Plus 110 gr ELDx ammo zeroed for 300 yards. Then, I went hunting and dead-dropped an antelope (see picture) at 436 yards--a testament to the long range accuracy and lethality of this setup.
So, instead of you spending lots of time and money putting together a deadly long range package, I've done all the work for you.
Just load it up and pull the trigger.
