Description: Make: Browning Model: Citori Upland Special Serial Number:1462PRB33 Year of Manufacture: 1987 Caliber: 20 Gauge 2 3/4” Shells Action Type: Over Under Shotgun, with Single Selective Inertial Trigger & Extractors. Markings: The left side of the upper barrel is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q. / MADE IN JAPAN”. The right of the top barrel is marked “SPECIAL STEEL 20 GA – 2 3/4” – 24””. The top tang, under the lever, is marked with the serial number. The sides of the receiver are marked with scroll engraving. The bottom of the receiver is marked “BROWNING / Citori”. Browning trademark is inscribed in Gold on lthe bottom of the trigger guard. Barrel Length: 24” Vent-Rib Choke: Modified over Improved Cylinder Plus 2 extra Skeet Chokes Sights / Optics: The front sight is a metal bead set on the rib at the muzzle. The top of the rib is checkered for glare reduction. Weight: 6 lb. 0 oz. Stock Configuration & Condition: The High Gloss stocks are checkered walnut with a Schnabel tip forend, straight grip, and straight comb. There are two compressions, and a few light scuffs on the stock.The defects are pretty evenly dispersed. The checkering is sharp. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures approximately 14 1/2" from the front of the trigger to the back of the Browning Recoil Pad. The drop at comb is approximately 1 1/2” and at heel 2 3/8”. The cast is about neutral. The stocks rate in about Very Good overall condition. Type of Finish: Blue with Finish Originality: Original Bore Condition: The bores are bright with no erosion. Overall Condition: This gun retains about 99% of its bright blue metal finish. There are hardly any noticable maks or wear. Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The lockup is tight. This shotgun has not been fired very much. Our Assessment: Browning Citori shotguns are extremely dependable and make for great investments. The Citori was introduced in 1973 as an alternative to the highly successful Superposed model. It has been made ever since in numerous calibers and configurations filling just about any role you could think of for an over under shotgun. This example has 24” barrels chambered for 20 Gauge 2 3/4 inch shells that are threaded for Invector chokes. With its straight grip stock and Schnabel tip forend, this Citori is certainly a looker that will turn some heads at the range. This one has a tight lockup, bright bores, and almost a perfect original finish with hardly anything in the way of wear.
