This is a circa 1850-1860 Kentucky/Pennsylvania percussion approximately 36-38 caliber in fair condition. The barrel length is 37.5 inches with a total length of 54 inches. The wood stock shows normal use with dents dings and cracks. The barrel And lock have a brown patina with scattered pitting. The butt plate and trigger gaurd are brass with a light brown patina. The lock is marked but I can't make out the maker. I think part of it is ???? & co. , Cinn. OH. Maybe. The lock set triggers appear complete but are not functioning and need attention.
