5 inch barrel chambered in 45 ACP caliber with a very good shiny bore and tight action. The Argentine government licensed from Colt the Model 1911A1 and made 74,866 of these pistols at their factory. This one was made in 1946. Right side of slide is marked "EJERCITO ARGENTINO SIST. COLT. CAL. 11.25 mm. MOD. 1927" And D.G.F.M.-(F.M.A.P.) on the left side of the slide. A good honest looking pistol with matching numbers and no import marks. Should make a fine shooter.
