WINCHESTER 1890 HALF NICKEL 22 SHORT 24" BARREL CIRCA 1906 WITH THE CORRECT TRIANGULAR CUT LOADING PORT IN THE MAGAZINE TUBE WITHOUT A REINFORCING COLLAR. THE RECEIVER IS NICKEL PLATED AS WELL AS THE BUT PLATE MAKING THIS 1906 GALLERY GUN VERY RARE IN THE CONFIGURATION. THE OVERALL CONDITON IS VERY GOOD WITH SOME THINNING OF THE BLUED FINISH AND SCATTERED AREAS WITH SOME BROWN PATINA PRESENT ON THE MAGAZINE TUBE. THERE ARE SOME VISIBLE CYCLING MARKS. THE FINISH ON THE RECEIVER HAS SOME SLIGHT SPOTTING AND OXIDATION. THE WOOD IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITON WITH SOME LIGHT HANDLING MARKS, WITH A MOSTLY BROWN PATINA TO THE BUTT PLATE.
