Smith & Wesson .44 Target Model of 1950 (pre-Model 24) .44 Special. Made in 1955 and supported by the included factory letter, serial S143840 (4x: frame, barrel, cylinder and grip) is a five screw variant with a 6.5-inch barrel (integral serrated rib, blade front sight, pinned). Features include an adjustable rear sight, color case hammer with checkered spur, color case trigger with serrated face and six serrations on each “strap” and checkered diamond grips. No box or papers. CONDITION: The bore is pristine. Trigger pulls are smooth and the cylinder rotates without stuttering. Metal and wood finishes each exceed 99 percent. The price is firm and layaway is available. $2,750 plus shipping.
