Description:
Gun retains 75% original finish overall with some light surface rust here and there and a pleasing patina. All markings are clear. Well marked on the left side of the receiver KYNOCH'S PATENT. The barrel is well marked on the top KYNOCH-GUN-FACTORY-ASTON, also double stamped on the right side of the barrel is MUSKET-40-77-380. The very end of the bolt handle knob is marked with a P over what looks like G.40. These were made in England under contract. All numbers are matching with the exception of the cleaning rod. Fine mechanical function. Bore is excellent, bright and shiny with sharp rifling. Wood has some dings and handling marks. All in all, an above average example of these scarce guns. Centerfire. Serial number is X39160

We will sometimes take off barrels or stocks in an attempt to prevent damage in shipping. We only sell used guns, and have no way to know how many rounds have been through them. WE DO NOT SHIP INTERNATIONALLY. ALL FIREARMS, REGARDLESS OF AGE OR FEDERAL ANTIQUE STATUS have to be shipped to a dealer for transfer within NY. Other states are fine, depending on your state laws. We will not ship to a New York, NJ, or CA C&R holder, a standard FFL is required. There are some states in which a C&R handgun MUST be shipped to a dealer, such as MD. Please know your local laws.
