Colt Model 1849 Pocket 31 Cal Bore Exc, Mech Exc, Grips Exc with 95% original varnish. Has a 4” oct barrel with 2 line address marking Address Sam Colt New York City, Serial# 84783 all matching, wedge,cylinder pin, Ramrod,frame,barrel backstrap, triggerguard and cylinder also has a number 2 marked close to the serial# on the cylinder and barrel.probably this is one of a pair that was cased. Metal overall has no pitting and original blue 30% with the ramrod, frame and hammer having case colors. The triggerguard has 50% original nickel finish. The cylinder has 100% strong cylinder scene.
