Description:
AYA Model 25 SxS shotgun chambered in 12 Gauge. This AYA is one of two manufactured in 1979 with a barrel date of "Y1". This example has full scroll and floral engraved coin finished frame and a 7 pin detachable sidelocks. The barrels are a 25" chopper lump nitro proof steel with a classic Churchill full-length narrow rib and a bead front sight. Marked in gold at the rear of the barrels is "AYA" and the number two. The barrels have ejectors and the flats proofed 12/70 (2 3/4") chambers. Choked: Right - (Improved Cylinder) and the Left - (MOD). This also has automatic ejectors, automatic top tang safety with S inlaid in gold, gold lined cocking indicators, bushed firing pins, and a right side beaded-edge trigger guard. The oil finished stock set is a two piece checkered walnut with an English straight grip stock, splinter forend, and a checkered wood butt. Stock measurements; (DC - 1 1/2", DH - 2 1/4"), with a slight cast for a right-hand person. Overall this gun shows very minimal wear, and still remains in great condition.
