Description:
This is a very nice early Remington 1100 28ga Skeet Model. Barrel code is PO which is June 1977. Serial number is: M449516J. Reallly nice dark wood on this one with plenty of grain. All original glossy wood finish and polished bluing, pretty much 98-99%. The smudges on the receiver pictures are just oil sheen. No pitting or any discoloration. You can tell it's original but looks darn near new. Just the slightlest handling marks exist. I have went thru it thoroughly to clean, inspect, lube and reassy. Installed a NOS action spring and new gas seal o-ring. Shot two rounds of skeet , functioned 100% flawlessly. Spec's are 25" fixed skeet choke barrel with vent rib and mid and muzzle beads. LOP is 14" to middle of factory buttplate. Vintage guns are just fun to shoot, like a classic car nothing is cooler. Buy with confidence, no disappointments with this beauty.
