Description:
For Your Consideration:

Fresh out of a Michigan estate we have a Randall Made Model #8-4 Bird and Trout. This particular model was released Post WWII (1948) by Bo Randall for the Sportsman market.

This particular example was made Circa 1958 in Orlando Florida. Whats interesting is that this #8 has a duraluminum buttcap, which was not a catalog option for this model, especially in stag. It comes in a beautiful Brown Button Heiser sheath. Named to Charles A. Miller who was an executive at Ford Motor Company in the 1950's and 60's.

What's most interesting about this Randall Made Knife is that it's the same Model and configuration that was carried by famed U2 Spy Plane Pilot Gary Francis Powers, who was shot down over the USSR in 1960. A Randall Model #8 is on display in Moscow Russia at the Cosmonaut & Patriot Museum. Powers was wearing the Randall on him when captured by the communists.

A real find and piece of Randall History. Hard to find example from this time period.
