This is a New-in-Box, unfired, Sako A7 Tecomate chambered in 300 WSM. It has only been taken out and handled a few times. Accordingly, it comes with box, plastic, locks, and everything it did when new in approximately 2011.
This is the original version of the Tecomate that included a Bell & Carlson stock, stainless receiver, and stainless fluted barrel. In summary, Sako marketed this rifle as having custom rifle features at a factory rifle price. As a 300 WSM with a 24 and 3/8 inch barrel, its ballistics match the original 26 inch 300 Win while having a shorter barrel. As a Sako, you can be comfortable you have a high quality product that is also guaranteed to shoot 5 rounds MoA (not three like almost everybody else.)
This rifle was named the "Editors Choice" by Outdoor Life. All-in-all its a great handling, do-anything, high-power hunting package.
There aren't a lot of these out there as they only made them a year or two. You will be hard pressed to find another one New-in-Box.
