Description:
A very nice Colt Sauer Sporting Rifle is chambered in .30-06 Springfield with a 23.5" barrel. The left front side of the receiver is marked "CR15847", and at the center is a rampant Colt logo with "COLT SAUER / SPORTING RIFLE", and a J.P. Sauer logo. The top of the barrel is marked "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO., HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A." The right side of the receiver is marked "Made in W. Germany / by J.P. Sauer & Sohn". The right side of the barrel is stamped with an eagle over "N" and a Colt triangle "VP" proof. The top of the receiver has a pair of bases mounted. The stock is one-piece checkered walnut with a darker wood nose and pistol grip cap, Monte Carlo comb with cheekpiece, ventilated black rubber Colt Sauer recoil pad. The grip cap has the rampant Colt medallion. Comes with a single magazine. .30-06 Springfield

Metal Condition: 95% overall. Faint scratches on the polished blue with a few nicks. The bolt body has minor contact marks from manipulation. The scope bases show marks from a mounted scope.
Wood Condition: "About 90%. The stock shows fine scattered marks with light dings and a few pressure marks, nothing major. The left side forend checkering has a couple diamonds missing from the checkering.
Bore Condition: Very strong bright bore.
Barrels: 23.5" barrel.
Triggers: Single.
