The 1985 BOA is a Colt Python barrel mated to a Colt Trooper frame. It is the "Holy Grail" of Snake guns as there were only 1200 produced, 600 each in 4 and 6-inch versions. They feature the amazing Colt Royal Blue from the Python along with the Colt Python high polish. The Colt Trooper frame received the same finish and retained the Trooper action. A rare find as a customer had it "laying in his safe for 25 years" and decided to part with it. It is a two-owner revolver. The original owner fired it a few times, enough to put a bit of residue on the cylinder face, and then stored it away. .357 Magnum
