Description:
This Colt collection is cased in a 3-drawer cabinet made of walnut with brass furniture, and a leather reprint of Armsmear by Samuel Colt. The first Colt is a .357 Mag Python in a high polished blue finish with a 6" vent rib barrel, adjustable sights and smooth walnut grips with an American eagle medallion on the left side. It has an unfluted cylinder with various patriotic scenes and the left side of the bbl is marked "1776 – U.S.A. Bicentennial – 1976". The python is in like new condition. The second gun is a .45 Colt Single Action Army with 7.5" barrel, unfluted cylinder, with smooth walnut grips and American eagle medallion on the left side. It has unfluted cylinder with two flags and a listing of the original thirteen colonies. It has polish blue on the barrel, cylinder & grip frame with case colored frame. The top of the barrel is marked "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG CO. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A." The left side of the barrel is marked "1776 – U.S.A. BICENTENNIAL – 1976". The right side of the barrel is marked "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY". This Single Action Army is in like new condition. The third gun is a 3rd Model Dragoon Percussion Revolver with 7.5" half round barrel, blue & case colored with silver plated trigger guard & back strap and smooth walnut grips with an American eagle medallion on the left side. It has the Ormsby ranger and Indian fight scene on the cylinder. It has polished blue finish on the barrel & cylinder with a case colored rammer and frame. The top of the barrel is marked "ADDRESS SAML COLT NEW YORK CITY" and the left side of the barrel is marked "1776 – U.S.A. BICENTENNIAL – 1976". The left side of the frame is marked "COLTS PATENT". This also has a reproduction Colt's Patent copper & brass flask, a brass 2-cavity mold with case colored sprue cutter an "L" shaped blue nipple wrench and a reproduction Eley's cap tin. All 3 gun are in like new unused condition. The cabinet is in excellent condition with a couple minor finish blemishes on the top of the cabinet. "A THREE GUN SET FOR $6,199.54". None
