This is a S&W Model 39 9mm semi-auto pistol with 4-digit serial number 8652 that was made back in 1959. Bore and action are excellent. The finish is original. It has red ramp and white outline sights and smooth finish figured walnut factory made grips. Early guns have lots of unique features. It has a ring hammer, no dash 39 of course, long extractor, small recoil plunger and several others. Beautiful gun. No box with it. Beautiful early 39 from my own collection of many years.
