Winchester Model 1894 Saddle Ring Carbine fitted with a 20 inch barrel, pinned blade front sight, 3-leaf Winchester express rear sight, full length tube magazine, frame mounted saddle ring with leather lash, gum wood long forearm, gum wood stock with steel carbine style butt-plate, is blue finished with color case-hardened finished hammer and lever, and chambered in .25-35 Win.. This 1905 vintage Model 1894 SRC is in fine original condition, with the barrel & magazine tube retaining 85% blue, with assorted corrosion spotting on the bottom of the barrel and left side of the magazine tube, behind the foreward barrel band. The bands and frame retain 50% original blue turning a grey/brown patina. The hammer and lever retain 70% of their original finihses. The stock and forearm retain most of their original finishes with assorted dings/pressure dents/scuffs, but not bad considering the soft nature of gunwood. The bore is bright with sharp rifling and the action is tight and functions perfectly. Rarely see these in .25-35 Win., a nice example of its type. CURIO & RELIC
