Description:
.69 caliber Harpers Ferry musket. 1827 on lock plate. Old style eagle on lock plate. Inspector marks on the barrel, Very slight catouch on the stock. Number 2 marked on both screws on the side plate. Inspectors V mark on the stock initials are not clear. Number 2 marked forward of the trigger. Number 2 stamped on the butt plate screw. Could be a number 2 on the butt plate. Stock is in good shape, normal dings, dents and scratches. THere is one small repair and a very tight crack in front of the lock plate. Comes with a US bayonet. Normal pitting around the handle and nipple.
