The guns are fitted with blacked, round 28" dovetail lump nitro proof barrels which are nicely fitted with ejectors, 2-3/4" chambers, tapered, smooth and concave game ribs with steel front beads. Both guns are choked Improved Cylinder and Improved Cylinder. The ribs are engraved 'BOSS & CO 13/14, CORK STREET, LONDON. W.1.' The case color hardened finished action bodies are adorned with rose bouquets and fine English Arabesque scrolls. The lockplates are engraved "BOSS & CO" in banners. The trigger plates are engraved 'BOSS'S PATENT NO 11278'.
