Description:
This interesting knife started out as a Third Reich Heer (Army) Dress Sword by E. Pack & Sohne, and now measures 14 3/8" overall, with a 9 5/8" clip-point blade. The blade itself has a mostly bright gray patina with some noticeable grind marks toward the tip, as well as an old coating of prtective varnish that has begun to flake off at the point. The E. Pack & Sohne "Siegfried" maker’s marking is still clear and legible, and the original dove hilt with reverse-P guard is unchanged. This is a neat repurposed Third Reich sword, and would make a nice addition to a collection of WW2 blades.;
