Description:
This 1941 Husqvarna Model 38, dated 1941, is chambered in 6.5 X 55mm. We find this to be a numbers-matching rifle in all numbered locations: receiver, cocking piece (electropenciled), bolt, and buttplate. This particular rifle has no numbers on its floorplate. Import marks are found on underside of barrel forward of the front band. Cleaning rod is not present.
The M38 stock is in excellent shape with no cracks, chips, or gouges. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Bluing shows some light loss on barrel and floorplate indicating handling use. The muzzle is not threaded and retains its original profile.
These rifles are known for being excellent shooters.
