Description:
Sako A II Varmint bolt action rifle. Probably made in the late 1970's or early '80's this rifle is chambered in .22-250.
Originally it would have had a blue barrel and now it has a "Match Grade" 22" stainless steel with a perfectly machined recessed target crown.
Mounted on top of the receiver is a (same as the rifle vintage) Redfield 12X scope with fine cross hair and Sako factory mounts.
By the lack of marks on the bolt face, by the 100% bright blue on the bolt knob, and by how clean the inside of the rifle is, I don't think this Varmint was shot much at all!
Factory 13 3/4" LOP to the Sako butt plate.
