Description:
This is an early Thickside High Wall Musket with most thinning original blue remaining on the 32 inch round barrel chambered in in 40-60 WCF caliber. Nice shiny bore. Original musket sights. Nice markings on barrel and frame. Receiver is case colored and has aged to a medium brown/gray color. Smooth action. Walnut stocks are also very nice with only one small chip missing on the left side by the upper tang. Complete with sling rings and cleaning rod. A hard to find Winchester Musket in this caliber. Made in 1887.
