Description:
For sale we have a Chapuis model Elan Artisan double rifle in .470 Nitro Express. This rifle features a highly figured oil finished Circassian walnut stock with cheekpiece and brown recoil pad, boxlock action with hand engraved sideplates, double triggers, ejectors, and tang safety. The barrels are 23-5/8" with quarter rib, 3-leaf rear express sight, and front bead with flip-over night sight bead. Gun is in almost new condition, with a round count of 10, and comes in factory fitted hard case with all papers. Factory target shows regulation at 50 meters with Norma PH RNSN 500-Grain loads. Gun has a rib mounted Trijicon SRO2 optic, which is also included. Rifle weighs 10 pounds, 8.1 ounces.
