Description:
This is a very nice Mauser model 4000 bolt action rifle chambered in 222 Remington cal. The Mauser 4000 is a push-feed bolt-action rifle produced by Mauser in collaboration with Heym from 1969 to 1975. It features a Mauser-type locking system, Deluxe Walnut Monte Carlo stock with Skip Line Checkering, rosewood fore end and grip cap (very much like the Weatherby Mark V Deluxe stock), engraved hinged floorplate, flip up rear ight and front sight w bead, high polish high luster blued finish on receiver and barrel, scope base included. Very nice very accurate rifle in excellent condition, solid 98% metal finish and 96% wood finish with only a few minor handling marks.
