Another great item from Gainesville Pawn! Up for sale is a Colt Cowboy SAA revolver. These were made in very limited production. The Colt Cowboy is a revolver that was manufactured by Colt's Manufacturing Company from 1999 to 2003. It was designed to be more affordable than the Colt Single Action Army (SAA) revolver, but was similar in size and appearance. The main difference between the two is that the Cowboy has a transfer bar safety system, which allows it to be carried with a loaded chamber and the hammer resting on it. The Cowboy was available with barrel lengths of 4.75 in, 5.5 in, and 7.5 in, but the 7.5 in variant was discontinued in 1999 and the 4.75 in variant was reintroduced in 2002. This one is like new in its factory box with a 5.5 inch barrel.
